Met Art Network Sale
60% off a membership to all Met Art sites is a great deal considering the addition of Sex Art to the Met portfolio. You can see top nude models in hardcore action, Met Art style, which, incidentally, isn’t very different from X-Art style, or Joymii style, for that matter: Familiar, top European, nude models doing the same things in bright, natural, window lit sets, in bed, or possibly by a roaring fire. I’m not a fan or so-called art porn, but for all the sites you get with one memberships, Sex Art is worth checking out.
I have complained about Hegre’s site becoming a porn site, for a while, but Hegre Art porn has a style all it’s own. X-Art style is becoming the default, art porn style, visually speaking, and Sex Art has adopted this aesthetic. Clearly, Hegre, always the vanguard, entered the porn market before the contributive, collection sites like Met Art were able to organize themselves to do so.
The visual style of Sex Art videos is only an issue because, a couple of days ago, Nubiles.net announced the launch of their entry into art porn market with a site called Nubile Films. Watch the trailer, and ask yourself, is the style of the producers of X-Art either being copied outright, or are the producers of X-Art selling content packages which are in turn re-branded as other sites? Producers have every right to sell their content. Sponsors have every right to rebrand content. However, that Nubiles, an established, teen, porn site feels compelled to entire the art porn market, at all, is a mystery. Then to use content that is almost identical to X-Art content, is even more questionable. Nubiles.net has featured teen models in hardcore for years, as far as I know. Perhaps, their motive is as simple as being able to offer a package to surfers that is as enticing as the Met Art package. I’ve even seen a deal which included Met Art and Nubiles, but that’s neither here nor there.
Obviously, Met Art and the other softcore, “art” sites were seduced by the economics of porn profits. With Met’s masterful position in the erotic, nude art market, the decision to go into porn was easy to make. The bottom line is subscriptions: monthly rebills. The question is have they bit off more than they can chew, in terms of creativity? Is Met going to dedicate it’s resources to producing as much porn as it does nude art? The videos on Met Art are few and far between, as nude art videos are hard to make enjoyable without a sexual component. Can Sex Art compete with the giants of Internet porn like Brazzers and Reality Kings? Model selection may be difficult since not all nude models do insertions, let alone hardcore xxx. You can really only see so many Malena Morgan/Elle Alexandra lesbian scenes before they lose their appeal, especially since you can see a similar video on Twisty’s or Reality Kings, anyway. Met would have to modify it’s casting process to include adult actresses, as well, and the result may just be… European porn.
I’m not a fan of European porn or the concept of art porn. Which is not to say there’s no good European porn, or that all European porn is to be considered artistic. There is simply nothing artistic about the sexual act, itself. Sex can only be a component of an overall work of art. Just because a muscular guy is fucking a nude model, doesn’t make porn into art. A great example of what I’m describing is the movie Taxi Driver. There are scenes in Taxi Driver which are art porn. In the end, the scenes on sites like X-Art lack the sleaze and perversion of amateur porn, and even mainstream porn. Sex and beauty are not equivalent. Sex is a bodily function, a physical response similar to eating, which is enjoyed and appreciated without discrimination. I’m not going to attempt to define art in a single blog post, but you can describe art as a geographically specific endeavour of the few, the inspired, that is product of culture which often can only be enjoyed and understood by small group of people. To put it simply, sex is universal. Sex is easy to define. Art is hard to define. Art is local. Art can be porn. Porn can’t be art.
Female beauty is artistically inspirational in a way sex can never be. Psychologically, appreciating the female form is in essence a sexual act, but the appreciation is not necessarily sexual. Now, we introduce the penis with the female form, and the nature of the art and its appreciation is changed entirely. Men can be nude models and pose nude, true, but this is not the Western tradition, at least not in modern years, and the penis as a source of artistic and cultural inspiration has be stifled for many centuries. I’ll put it this way: You’re more likely to see Charlize Theron’s tits than you are Tom Cruise’s penis.

Best Nudes of the Week Oct. 10
Best Set Cover of the Week
Of all the set covers published throughout the week, and there are many, you would expect more to be much better than they are. Set covers are supposed to represent magazine covers, although, a set cover can only be as good as the set itself, so there are limitations to how good they can be. Not every set is great, therefore not every set cover stands out. Then there are those magnificent times when the set cover is a work of art and you can throw the rest of the pictures out with the bath water.
This week, Met Art and Errotica, share the honor. These are two sites cut from the same cloth; two models with similar body types, one with an exotic visage, the other the picture of the girl next door; two drastically different approaches to the photography: one very static, lumbering, real image full of symbolism; the other very fast moving and abstract, like a shooting star. The primary, eponymous photographer of Errotica, Erro, continues to be a major contributor to Met Art, and if I’m not mistaken, his affiliate program is also run by the Met Art brand. I’m not entirely sure, at the moment, but that certainly was the case, at one point in time.
The Snega image from Errotica demands your attention, immediately. The image, on a whole, is memorable for it’s color and texture. It’s the color gold that draws you in. Gold represents commerce and luxury, comfort, and wealth. From an early age, we’re socialized to recognize and value the color and texture of this terrestrial element. On a conscious and subconscious level, your first impression of this image is most likely going to be favorable and keeping with your feelings about gold.
Next, notice the chains. Chains represent industry, bondage, slavery, security, safety, work. A chain is pattern, a sequence in which the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. The dirty silver color stands in contrast of the gold background. There are only two chains, however, we can say definitively there is no gold without chains. Chains come first. A chain is a tool and a means to an end. You must use your chains to subjegate the environment and people around you. The gold is the end and represents the power and strength of the chains.
Right in the middle of the picture is Snega, a model with a very familiar and editorial face I don’t recall seeing much. She mounts the gold and holds the chain as if to control all things. However, the title, Zoloto, is apparently Russian for Gold, a word that is used in immigrant Russian communities in US cities like New York and Chicago to mean gold-digger, which all know is a reference to a woman only interested in men for their money. This allusion certainly changes the interpretation of image. Are we to assume Snega is merely a zoloto or something more? She holds the chain close to her breast in a pose that signifies control. At the same time, if you notice, her finger points back at herself.
What is the connection, or chain of thought, keeping this image together? Who is making the statement here, the photographer or the model? What is the link between the gold-digger, the gold, and the chain. Perhaps, we are meant to conclude that, contrary to what we know about gold, chains, and women, the gold and chain are the same thing, shackling the digger, in a tragic, ironic, fateful act. The digger is the possessor and the possessed, united in the form of Snega, who subtly reveals herself to be the embodiment of avarice.
The second picture raises fewer questions and not as rife with meaning. It is worthy of honor for its technical execution and composition. Alina F., I’m sorry to say, doesn’t bring much to this image. She’s not the most striking model on the site. Her smile is timid and pedestrian and doesn’t fit the action and dynamic quality of the splashing water. The water is force, motion, nature, and excitement, frozen in a singular moment. Alina is just frozen. She doesn’t add anything to the picture. She doesn’t detract from the picture, either. As commonplace as these water shoots have become on Met Art, some stand out.
I particularly appreciate the use of the blue light and the sheet or curtain, whatever is on the ground, there, (still can’t classify some of the props used). I especially enjoy the wet floor reflection and how the sheet adds depth to the image against a black background. The result can be described as a streak of blue light, emanating from the abyss of space, culminating in an explosion or bang, giving birth to the immortal Alina. Again, she isn’t bringing any drama to the picture and would have served us all better had she struck a pose as expressive and dynamic as the water splash.
Best Breasts of the Week
In what can only be described as a massive oversight on my part, I have to readdress the model known as Maggie Bliss aka alias Olga on 18 and Busty. I gave her a considerable amount of exposure on the front page for a time, due in part to web sites releasing content of her, regularly. We all marvelled at her endowments, while noting the irregularity of their appearance as well as the odd circumstances surrounding the location of the shoots. To my credit, I also noted the exceptional quality of her legs, how well she used them in her pictures and videos, and how they enhanced her appeal, overall.
The other day, while checking out search records for The Nude Arts, I noticed an entry connecting Maggie Bliss to the name Omega A. I ran a rudimentary google search and discovered, quite to my surprise, that Maggie Bliss did in fact go by the alias Omega A., and appeared in two sets on Met Art, Presenting Omega and Sensuality. My memory was immediately jogged and I rushed to recollect the galleries of Omega A., who, at the time, I lauded for her incredibly sexy use of her legs and busty figure. I was, however, disappointed to recognize that Omega A. had much smaller breasts than Maggie Bliss. So, a few months too late, I am shocked and disappointed to announce that Maggie Bliss is in fact, as a commentator on another site wrote, just Omega A. with fake tits.
Check out the Met Art sets, definitely. Omega has wonderful legs and what appears to be a great figure all around. Also notice the complete lack of direct shots of her breasts. Also, check The Nude Arts for Maggie Bliss and Olga sets. You will similarly not see any pictures of her pudenda, shots which are downright anatomical and gratuitous on Met Art. The size of her labia is extraordinary; two flaps in every sense. Perhaps she should have considered having those reduced instead of having her breasts enlarged. I’m just kidding, but I know some of you are thinking, maybe she should have.
Best Legs of the Week
This one was really easy, and naturally, the model isn’t one who’s receiving much or will be receiving much exposure, any time soon. Still, what her legs are capable of is phenomenal. Perhaps, this is one of the facts of nude art: you have you’re stars who do it for the money; are porn stars in some cases. In the end, what we get from them is more about the marketability of nudity and the commercialization of sex. On the other hand, there are those rare gems, models, a part of the scenery, almost, who book a few shoots here and there, adventurous and full of life, who, every now and then, create magic with a photographer just because they have extraordinary bodies.
There really isn’t thing remarkable about this set, Foret, besides Kitty B. and you must respect that approach to the shoot. As the heart of the art of photography is what can be accomplished with the use of exotic lighting schemes, the heart of the art of modeling is the model herself, stripped bare of the designer clothes and photographic trickery. Kitty is an embodiment of the fall of the forest. She delights in simple pleasures as any forest nymph would. It would appear she herself emerged from the fallen yellow leaves.
Two criticisms, though. The first is that since Kitty is one of the site’s edgier models, with piercings and a lower back tattoo, if the narrative is indeed one of fantasy a creative way of keeping her tattoo hidden might have been employed. Then again, my mind is always creating fantasy scenarios. We are probably just looking at a young woman from our time in the forest doing what she does. My second criticism is keeping with fantasy but also with artistic photography. I don’t like that she keeps her eyes in the lens in most of the pictures, and in the one she isn’t, it’s the most erotic picture of the set. Her limbs are so elegant and she’s clearly very graceful. She should have been encouraged to bring more drama with her facial expressions.

What is wrong with OT Cash?
Seriously, I’m just asking because I’d love to know what they’re thinking over there. 
Not that Stacey M. (pictured on the right), from Only Secretaries, isn’t the perfect vision of a blonde secretary any employer would hire in an instant just to admire and hit on every time she brought him coffee, but of all the galleries OT Cash released today, with all the sites it has to promote, for promotional purposes, the main model they should have promoted and didn’t is the model that pretty much every other glamor site on the web is promoting right now, hardcore, Malena Morgan.
Personally, I’m not as taken with Malena as other producers, photographers, and customers are. I’m not even a big fan of this genre/style of nude art. Malena strikes me as a petite, pretty, brunette girl, with a lot of passion and strong willingness to perform on camera. She’s lacking that certain, I don’t know what, perhaps, animal appeal, that makes a truly good nude model. I’ve yet to see her in a pure nude art set. Even on Met Art, shot by the beaming producer, Jason Self, she’s hidden behind styling and crisp photography. That Malena is appearing in glamor shoots, with lots of accessories and makeup may be the source of my problem with her, as well. If she did a pure nude shoot with some random photographer who supplies Domai, we’d know what she really looks like.
Physically, I’d compare Malena Morgan to Divina A. from Met Art, who isn’t nearly making the waves that Malena is. There must be a lot of hype surrounding her in the circles which are booking her for jobs. You can’t argue with site sales, though, and if most professionals are claiming this girl is tearing it up on the rankings, which she is (ranking high on Met Art and Twisty’s top models list) why didn’t the producers of Art Lingerie release a free set of pictures of her for everyone to see? Digital Desire didn’t hesitate jumping on the Malena Morgan bandwagon this week releasing a set of pictures and a video of her with Hayden Hawkens.
Instead, I had to do some digging for you guys, and come up with some preview pictures of Malena Morgan on Art Lingerie which were posted by the photographer of the set, himself, Dean Capture, pictures, Art Lingerie doesn’t feel it needs to publish in order to cash in on Malena’s growing profile online. Even X-Art eventually made it’s racy Malena set, a lesbian encounter in a sauna with the redhead Elle, available for public preview.
Dean Capture strikes me as real professional from the few posts of his I’ve read over at the webmaster watering hole. He has an interesting site where you can see behind the scenes pictures of his shoots. The amount of equipment he uses to produce these pictures is pretty impressive, and the quality and technical competence of his photography shows in the finished product. He even has a blog (that hasn’t been updated in months but we’ll give him a pass on that), called ProGlamour, that he’s trying to position as an information and educational resource for amateur glamor photographers and photographers in general.
He seems to understand the value of promoting Malena on Art Lingerie, for his business interests. Digital Desire, one of the glamor sites trying to keep up Twisty’s, understands this as well, and published its Malena Morgan gallery, today.
I’m just not seeing it, though. Malena is a pretty girl- very pretty. She’s not inspiring me, tempting me, or even interesting me other than the fact that others are interested in her. She definitely doesn’t have any hang ups about her body or what she’s willing to do. She’s doing g/g work, already, which is girl-on-girl, lesbian scenes, in business jargon. Digital Desire has the second lesbian scene I’ve seen of Malena. A lot of models don’t have one, so it’s unexpected to me.
Could be that she’s setting herself up for a career in porn. With the amount of exposure she’s receiving on glamor sites, moving on to explicit hardcore is probably a sound business decision. Other than her erotic tendencies, though, I just don’t get what’s so great about her. Maybe she’s simply a joy to work with and very professional. Maybe I’m just wrong.
A few years ago, Adrienne Manning, supposedly, used to visit a now defunct forum that I frequented to post pictures. It was supposed to be really her. This was when she worked with Melissa Midwest, and went by the alias Sweet Adri. Every guy on the forum lauded her as a most wonderfully, divine creature, and I just couldn’t see it. I was not impressed and it annoyed me she was getting all this attention for being an average girl in amateur quality pictures.
It wasn’t until a few years later, after her falling out with Melissa, and her moving on to bigger and better things, that I had a change of heart. I really didn’t follow the drama between the two models, and maybe I got some wrong information, but, clearly, judging by the site’s content, she shot with Melissa years ago, and hasn’t shot with her since.
I still felt Sweet Adri was a bunch of hot air. Then, I saw these pictures from Next Door Models. My mind was blown, frankly. Somehow, her fantastic rear was lost in translation in all the pictures she took with the Midwest outfit. In the end, she made me salivate, when at first, I thought that if you thought she was anything more than just another girl, you were out of your mind.
The bottom line: there is possibly something about Malena Morgan I’m not able or mature enough to appreciate for the time being. It could be that I’m just blinded by the hype surrounding her and her sudden appearance on the scene. If I had to choose, right now, she looks best on Twisty’s and X-Art. I’m one day away from doing the best of the week, and she’s not getting an honor, despite all of her published sets. That’s saying something about the quality of her work. One day, sooner or later, I may rediscover her as a personal favorite. She might work with a photographer that shoots her in a more artistic and natural style, minus the flash and glam. Still, regardless of my opinion of what’s she’s done so far, she’s marketable, right now, and it just doesn’t make sense to me for OT Cash to not release a free set of her while her stock rises.
It doesn’t stop there though, with OT Cash and Art Lingerie, these days. Have you heard of this model called Jessie? Probably not, her pictures aren’t even up on the site yet, let alone in a free gallery form. Again, thanks goes to Dean Capture for giving us a taste of what’s to come on the site. Now, unlike Malena, I can see the instant appeal of Jessie. According to one producer from Dirty Hot Productions, Jessie says she’s part Brazilian. Whenever you add some South American spice to a model’s profile, the temperature goes up, automatically.
So, we don’t have to wonder, genetically speaking, where Jessie’s behind came from. Add in the puffy nipples, pretty face, dirty, blonde, frizzy hair, innocent air, and teen appeal, and we have someone extraordinary and new in the business. She can go butt-to-butt, with any of Met Art’s top ten models, and she matches their teen appeal, as well. The question is when is Art Lingerie going to stop sitting on her content. What is OT Cash, and by extension, Art Lingerie waiting for?

Best Nudes of the Week Aug. 29
Of all the set published today, one in particular didn’t really stand out. There were a few interesting trends and sets which caught my eye. I feel like I should be writing about Hegre Art. It seems that a new and noteworthy gallery is released by the site every Friday-Saturday. Not this week, still, while I was checking out set covers on Hegre Art, yesterday, I found this one very interesting.
Best Set Cover of the Week
My question is why wasn’t this set American Beauty turned into a free gallery? What are the people at Hegre Art waiting for? I hadn’t even seen the model, Ryonen, till today, at least I don’t remember seeing her. Working with nudes though, naked women with great bodies, they’re kind of hard to forget, so I think I would have remembered her. And so what if the set came out two days ago? Trumpets should have blared, somewhere.
I love her legs, hips and shapely feet. She has a look, like Silvie, who I wrote about last week, like a weird, naked, fashion model, who’s not conventionally beautiful. I love that she hangs effortlessly, almost as if she was frozen in place and barely exerted herself to make the pose and hold it. The shot is centered relatively well. The hardware, the exercise equipment is a great prop. The Military–industrial complex comes to mind, because I see the word “American”.
Ryonen is inside the bunker of a secret, military lab where female super spies are being engineered and trained. They will be the first line of defense, guarding the nation’s top, sexual secrets; defending our sexual freedoms, and making the world safe for sex. If necessary, this elite squadron will occupy any nation in the world in name of sexual liberation.
Best Legs of the Week
This was a tough one, but when it came down to it, Femjoy’s Dana C. came out of nowhere yesterday and stole the show. Born to Enjoy was published in the members area on July 15, 2011, and they’re just no getting around to publishing a free gallery. I have no idea why. For a petite girl, her Dana’s legs look longer and more linear than they should be. As intriguing as this picture is, you have to see the entire set to truly appreciate what she’s capable of.
Dana doesn’t make the first impression of a remarkably flexible and fit, little, tan, brunette nude model, but she really does have the good. This was by far the toughest decision, and the runner-ups are very noteworthy. First, we have Melisa, also on Femjoy, on what can only be described as every model’s fantasy job. What is better than flying to some hot, tropical locale, shooting for a week in paradise, and getting paid for it?
Then there was Capri Anderson, on Bikini Riot. We haven’t heard much from Capri since the Charlie Sheen scandal which came to light around this time last year. She’s popped up here and there, through the months, but nothing as monumental as what happened to her with regard to the actor. If anything, though, she can say that she was there, more or less, at the inception of the Sheen phenomenon. I wouldn’t be surprised if, within her circle of friends, she takes credit for for the whole thing. I know nothing about the specifics of their situation, but certainly remember, it was the first I’d heard of Sheen since Heidi Fleiss, which was a very long time ago.
The last contender for best legs of the week surely would have won, hands down, had Karups PC not been so stingy with her pictures. Of all the photos in this set of July Saint (another model I just learned about), this was the only picture which featured her legs they chose to include in the free gallery.
It’s a great picture, but there’s more, and they tease you with the gallery by including this little thumbnail
basically showing you that you have to join the site to see the real goods, of which there must be tons, because if this girl, with this body, and this flexibility isn’t booking nude shoots every week, I don’t know what’s wrong with the market for nude models and some photographer’s need to get busy.
July Saint looks rather familiar. I don’t know if she has an alias which I forget, or if she just looks like a lot of other European, brunette, nude models. Either way, she should have a great future with lots of exposure ahead of her. Check the site and you’ll see dozens of girls, who aren’t nearly as talented as her with loads of exposure.
Best Butt of the Week
No offense to the breasts we’ve seen this week. There have been some good ones, some great ones, even. I called this week, boob week, for a reason. However, no set really jumped out at me as deserving the title the best boobs of the week. This way, everyone is a winner. A picture of a butt though did jump out at me, demanding recognition and lauding.
Not surprisingly, the photographer is Goncharov. Surprisingly, the set is from Met Models, the often underwhelming little sister of Met Art.
It’s another petite butt that is definitely helped out by photography, but it’s the perfect illustration of why butt men are who they are and adore what they adore. The most important aspect of femininity is displayed here, perfectly. Niza, as a model, hardly impresses me. She doesn’t have a look. You can’t say that she’s ugly, because that’s not the case. Her face just isn’t pretty or memorable.
Niza is exotic. She’s an interesting physical specimen, built solid, like what you’d expect of a wife from steppes of Central Asia. Niza is the kind of woman you wouldn’t hesitate to order, if you take my meaning, and I write that with only the most flattering intentions in mind.
However, while you don’t need to break out the old brown paper bag to put over her head in order to get the job done, that old cliche is definitely applicable. You turn Niza around, and she instantly becomes the most beautiful woman in the world. Whether or not she’s the most interesting, is another story.
Honorable Mention
Finally, just a little word on one of my all-time favorite models, Gina, from Simon Scans. The copyright on this picture is 2007. I’d love to know what, if anything, she’s doing right now. In a perfect world, these would be new pictures. I doubt that’s the case, even though she looks like she’s going to age beautifully. The pictures of the set do illustrate what I’ve been writing about blondes and their perfect color complement being green.

Marjana
Marjana is certainly making a name for herself, though I’ve only seen her on MC-Nudes and Hegre Art, so far. That doesn’t mean she won’t be appearing sometime in the near future on Femjoy and Met Art. She’s got a great body, no doubt about it. Her face really isn’t that memorable or unique, which would be the biggest impediment to her taking over the Internet. Hegre definitely has a bead on her, as he does most models he works with. MC-Nude’s style isn’t the most creative of all the big sites, but really, the site presents her in a very, folded in the deck way, which harkens to what I just wrote about her face not being very interesting. It’s almost as if the MCN images acknowledge her increasing exposure while also commenting on her lack of that extraordinary quality which makes distinguishes a model as memorable and as a star.
I asked someone I know why women wear open toed heels, and she said because they’re stupid. I hate them personally. I don’t see how they enhance the beauty of the foot. They just make what little toes you can see look scrunched together. MCN has long had an obsession with footwear. They are determined to ruin as many pictures as possible by putting models in stupid high heels. I didn’t see Maria Swan wearing any heels in the sets she’s in on the site. Maybe that’ because she doesn’t suck and doesn’t need them.

Nude Model Ariel hits the internet
Notice for all aspiring Internet models: You’ll know you’ve arrived when three competing web sites publish your sets in the same week. Ariel is hot like fire. Her reign of dominance doesn’t seem to be ending anytime soon. Just one thing, why hasn’t she ever been on Hegre Art? To me, it’s just arrogance on his part. It’s not like he doesn’t know who she is. Does her absence mean he feels she’s not worthy of his site? Maybe she isn’t.
In an effort to try and tap into every market possible, which you can’t really knock from a business standpoint, he’s publishing more and more promotional sets of Japanese women and this one greasy African woman as though they’re going to end up on some little European teenie bopper site. I mean, Hegre really never was the biggest on the TGPs and I’m not questioning his traffic or accolades, but everybody knows the euro teenie site is proven. His work really doesn’t even fit that genre, but exceptions could be made. Instead, it’s more Gloria and Nicole, week after week, the (and I mean this in the least offensive way possible) ugly girls of Nudolls, some random Japanese woman, oh, and the African girl.
They look good. The African woman is like a bunga bunga dream come true. The Japanese girls look better than they do in Japanese publications, but unless you’re paying affiliates, they’re not working with that stuff, and even if they are, even if you’re able to get a normally teen obsessed webmaster to put his profits and loyal visitors second to your entreprenurial impulses, a surfer looking for young European teens is not going to magically start wanting Japanese porn just because it’s on a high quality nude art site.
What’s more, Japanese porn is available for free on such a massive scale, that anyone would ever consider paying for it is almost as ridiculous as the idea of someone paying to produce it. The counter argument is that African and Asian sites and webmasters will promote Hegre Art, but unless he plans to produce equal amounts of content for the markets in which he intends to expand, it probably won’t take in the form of a dramatic increase in revenue, significant enough to produce not just on a hobby basis but full scale.
And what about Ariel? I want her on Hegre Art just so I can say she’s been on every relevant nude art site. Then again, maybe she’s too good for Hegre Art. If I had to choose a set of these three released this week, I would choose the Met Art one, just because it feels like there is some potential for art there, beyond the actual images, and the pictures and Ariel are brighter and well lit, followed by Femjoy, and lastly Breath Takers. The Breath Takers is not meant to be taken as art, strictly. The cover lacks elegance as do the pictures. The styling is modern and relatable and the images are self-referential.
Ariel is making the statement that control is in her hands. The camera belongs to her and the camera represents creativity, creative control, control of the process, production, and is the source of her power and the photographer. That it’s in her hands can be seen as emasculating the photographer, separating him from his tool and input. The Internet empowers her and all models to be independent of photographers and publishers. Ariel looks into the mirror, sees herself, admires herself and her own vanity. She indulges in her youth and vanity, her beauty and her global appeal. There’s a picture of her sticking out her tongue, in a contemptuous display of arrogance and sexual pride, mocking the viewer as she seduces him and wallows in her fame and lust. At the same time she’s adoring herself, providing for herself, someone is continues taking pictures of her, which is commentary on the changing state of the media.
For example, if you watch ESPN, in America, you know that the talking heads pretty much don’t go 10 minutes without mentioning what an athlete said via his Twitter Account, which invariably leads to a debate about whether or not they should have said what they said, how Twitter and social media is changing the role of the traditional media, and media consumers can go straight to the source and bypass media outlets for the latest news on what interests them.
The Breath Takers set demonstrates you can go straight to Ariel, but we’re also watching Ariel and you can get to her through us, still. So, there are four interpretations at work here, Ariel on Ariel, the photographer on Ariel, you on Ariel, you on the photographer on Ariel, if that makes sense. I’m not saying the The Tourist isn’t interesting. The photography just isn’t.
Conceptually speaking, the Met Art and Femjoy sets are not on that level, or can’t be critiqued in depth. What I appreciate most about the two sets are Ariel’s passionate expressions. They seem peculiar in the Met Art set given the environment. Nothing around her seems to be capable of prompting such a reaction from her. Still, I could cut her out of that picture, add her to another picture and her face would make perfect sense.
The Femjoy set is much cooler, with the blue of the water, the green on shore is more of a minty accent than a vibrant embellishment as it is in the Met set in the form of the fabric prop and the plant life, both of which explode out of the pictures. The Femjoy is more relaxed. She investigates the water; looks off into the distance. Ariel is more vulnerable near the water. Her expressions are not as intense. In general, she’s more submissive relative to you the viewer. Take your pick on three takes of Ariel. I swear, I’m beginning to wonder if I should call her a busty model. If you want the real Ariel, take the Breath Takers. If you want the sensual contemplative woman, Femjoy. If you want Ariel, the model, modeling, go with Met.

Dream Teen Tina Total Fitness Body
Another awesome little teen this week, this time from Amour Angels. They have a great roster of models. Every now and then they publish something like this and prove their place amongst the famous nude sites on the web. What we have here are pictures of Tina, Dream Teen. Who is Tina, you ask? Well, she’s none other than Met Art top model Divina A. Divina showed up on Met a couple of months back, went straight to top of their top models list, and she didn’t even have a set published on the site. Talk about hype! Divina A. is closer to the number one in the rankings than girls with unforgettable sets and videos on the site and Divina has no promotional galleries. I didn’t even see a set listed on Met, not even a model profile entry, if I recall correctly.
Finally, last month, they published a set of her and it’s just about the most underwhelming set of images you could imagine. Met is notorious for taking perfectly decent models, applying the Met Art style to them, thereby turning a real top model into a Met Art top model, which really isn’t an interesting model to behold. Most notably, Anita C. has received this treatment. Anita looks awesome as Danica on Femjoy, and totally forgettable as Anita C. on Met. I’m at a loss for words. Truly, I don’t know why this happens. We all know Met has great sets, but how they’re able to capture models all wrong sometimes is beyond me. That they accept, purchase these pictures from their photographers says something about their business model, as well. If a photographer of good standing on the site has pictures of the girl, they accept it. Anyway, if you’re anything like me, you found Divina A. to be nothing but hype and not worth mentioning at all.
However, while Divina A. is a bust for the time being, Tina, who is ironically the same person, is a sensation. If she was in any better shape I’d tell her to screw nude modeling and become a world class athlete. They make tons more money. Tina’s midsection is totally ripped. Fitness is not important just for looks, either. Fitness, is about sexual stamina, as well. Tina’ flexible. She has great legs. Obviously, Amour Angels didn’t go the artistic route with this set. They rarely do. The site’s style is more teen porn minus the porn. Still, while Met touts artistic vision and creativity, sometimes what sites like Amour Angels do is better just to get to the heart of the matter, that being showing off a young woman at the peak of her youthful sexual identity.
I insist you check out the Divina A. sets and judge for yourself. As Tina, she looks a lot more fun and interesting. The elegant locations of Met Art suck the life out of her. This is another aspect of Met the producer seem to not understand. Yes, a lot of the market for the site is older men fantasizing about young women. That’s fine, but also take into consideration the segment of visitors of the site who are young men looking for young women. I can’t imagine that they picture themselves sleeping with the girls, with whom th socialize regularly, with them wearing stockings, garter belts, in a hotel room with green and purple velvet curtains. Of course not, because they picture them wearing things young women normally wear, sneakers, t-shirts, jeans, and panties, tank tops, and shorts. Here’s a novel idea: They picture them wearing nothing at all, naked that is.
That’s what men want to see, and if you can make it look artistic, even better. I’m not even sure what middle-age man pictures these girls in garter belts and high heels and colorful beads. There appears to be a disconnect between reality and fantasy, and real fantasies and cliched glamour fantasies, which seem like they were formed in 1940′s, when it comes to the images photographers are creating. It’s time to move forward. Check out high fashion magazines, and look books and you’ll see that not only is it possible to dress nude models in a modern and artistic way and have them undress, it’s what’s expected.

Nudes of young Veronica
I wrote about Veronica/Svetlana a couple days ago when she appeared on Zemani for the first time and couldn’t help publishing a new set of her for Art Nude Angels. Clearly Veronica looks younger and a lot more joyful in this set, while retaining, what I consider to be her signature, an air of mystery. She definitely has a certain charisma in these pictures that might have something to do with the photographer she worked with. What I find distracting about her in these pictures is the uninspired posing of her body. Her eyes and face are satisfactorily expressive. Maturity of mind and character is present in your youthful aspect and entirely perceivable.
Veronica’s just not doing much with the rest of her body. The hands behind her head, the pointing elbows, it’s all very beginner model. I’m not even sure what that pose is supposed to mean. Is it natural for a woman to hold herself this way? What’s remarkable about Veronica is how voluptuous her slender body appears. I can’t stress enough that she makes an underwhelming first impression. You have to appreciate her for more than a moment to realize what a an incredible body she has, not at all skinny, very elegant breasts, attractive, curvy, slender hips, and of course her backside, which is well hidden in these pictures, but still noticeable.
Accessories like a plain black shirt work because it obscures and reveals at the same time. It’s the principle on which the thong works. The thong is extremely revealing while concealing an important focal point thereby forcing the eye on and amplifying importance of another focal point. Simply put, the vagina is hidden so the buttocks takes on greater significance. Hiding her arms draws your eyes to her torso and lower half, and prompts you to want to seem more of her lower half, inviting you into the shirt and what you can’t see.
As for the composition, it’s very typical of the site. There’s nothing interesting about it. The photographer just stuffed her in a corner next to a window, very typical. The crop is very tight. Veronica clearly wasn’t directed to do anything creative with herself to make the pictures more interesting. However, she might not be that kind of model, that being dynamic and exciting, because in the Zemani set, as Svetlana, her and the photographer had all the space of a forest to work with and she still didn’t produce extraordinary images.
Compare this, what an outdoor, nature, swampy forest shoot should look like, to this, and you’ll see what I mean. There’s really no comparison, at all. Sofi A. is extraordinary, vibrant, physical specimen with tons of passion for posing. Her photographer complements her natural ability and talents by shooting her in surroundings in which she can excel. Veronica/Svetlana appears totally uninspired next to Sofi, in the same environment. The reason Svetlana appears boring has to fall on the artistic vision of the photographer and not pushing the subject to perform to her fullest.

Busty girls and rock and roll
Two sets in the same week feature models with big breasts and guitar: Daria D. on Met Art by Goncharov, and Em on New Nude City, by Richard Kern.
Let’s look at the Daria set first. The guitar appears to be larger than Daria herself. It’s a wonder she’s able to carry it, at all. It borders on ridiculous to picture her holding this thing for longer than minute let alone the duration of a song or concert. More likely than not the instruments and equipment belong to her male friend, not pictured. She looks very sexy though, head-to-toe. The straight hair and bangs reinforce the idea we’re looking at a genuine alt/indy rock girl with an amazing body, or even an actual singer from the 1960′s. Of course, the quality and resolution of the image is proof of its recent vintage. If it were taken with an antique 35mm camera and developed by traditional photographic methods, and then scanned into a computer, I doubt we’d be able to tell the difference.
The same cannot be said for the Em set. The guitar is out of place in her pictures. There’s no context. She doesn’t need to be in a music studio, but the guitar comes out of nowhere. I guess there’s a retro vibe to the apartment, but what does that have to do with guitars? Em looks like a busty babe who was handed a guitar to pose with.
The exotic quality of Daria’s face adds to the set’s authenticity, as well. She’s looks like a Japanese Idol, American style, if that makes sense. Daria doesn’t look completely Asian, just enough to be more interesting than the average girl, as if her above-average breasts weren’t enough to set her apart. She reminds me of Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, which I had the pleasure of seeing for the first time in the past couple of weeks on HBO.
I’d never heard of the comic book or anything. I saw the trailers when it first came out and thought it looked good, but not enough to see in the theatre. Daria definitely has that look of the movie was going for, which is not so simple, but I’ll try to make sense of it. So, in Japan Western pop culture is imitates, turned into something entirely different, something which is commonly accepted as Japanese pop culture, which in turn is exported to America and the West, where it once again becomes Western and American pop culture. I just wonder where it all began. The movie SPVTW is really a very blantant example of pop culture fusion, and Daria, her look, to put in plainly, fits the style and concept of Asian fusion.
I don’t know how to describe the movie, really. It’s a Kung Fu, video game, action, romance about Canadian indy rockers. However you want to classify it, I enjoyed it, throughly. The sound and feel took me back to being 15 years old. The snow especially, and I’m a big fan of snow, really reminded me of a time when I really thought kids and people like in the movie were the coolest. It didn’t last but it remains a fond memory. I guess I was a poser at that time. I quickly reverted back to my old ways when I was informed by the friend of a friend that I looked foolish, in so many words, thereby ending by skater/rocker phase.
Em on the other hand looks a lot more normal, so to speak, not nearly as interesting or international. Her breasts certainly look great as does her butt. If I had to choose, I’d take Em’s breasts over Daria’s, but that’s meaningless since both have perfect breasts. This is the first time I’ve seen Emm’s feet. I’m surprised a woman with such breasts could have such unattractive feet. That, along with the incongruent setting, makes this set a disappointment. I know it sounds terribly picky to disqualify, I guess you’d say, a girl because her feet don’t look good, but they are a very important component of the nude subject. I’ll give her a pass this time. Maybe it’s just the toe nail polish, though I’m reasonably certain it’s not. Like I said, there’s no reason for Em to have a guitar, so it looks out of place.

Young Nude Model Svetlana
I know some of you might be sick of all the features about big breasts, busty models. Some of you are in heaven, because there have been some really good new models published on some websites in the past few weeks. Well, frankly, there’s not been much to talk about other than busty girls, except for a few sets here and there, and busty girls just really stand out to me. Even Zemani, the site I’m writing about has had breasts on the mind recently, and this week was no exception as it published a set of busty blonde Dashka this week.
Anyway, here goes an exceptional girl of a normal size, or a girl with attributes besides those on her chest, whom I’ve written about before on this site and published have published sets of on Art Nude Angels. Svetlana, just has one of those timeless, youthful faces which makes an immediate impression. She reminds me of a younger, smaller, brunette Svanhild from Domai fame. Svetlana, who I named Veronica for Art Nude Angels, has an air of innocence, captured in this set as scenes of feminine self-discovery. The first picture of her watching her step, and the last picture of her looking up a tree exemplify this concept. Having seen published and currently unpublished sets of her, I’m glad to see her outdoors and interacting with an environment other than being in a flat doing basic modeling poses.
If there is one fair criticism of Art Nude Angels and Bredon, Thom Stockton’s photography in general, it is the lack of diversity in sets and locations. I hope this changes in the future and he shoots more girls outside. However, I think one of his idiosyncrasies as a photographer and artist is his insistence on having a flat and working with a model in it, inside, so it might not happen. Lack of diversity in location is my major complaint with the way the model Danica on Femjoy has been used recently. Danica is always in a studio or inside somewhere, no matter what site she’s on or which photographer she’s working with; always doing the same studio poses under the same lighting schemes. Danica is a gorgeous girl but you want to see her doing things, outside, exploring, just for a change of pace.
In Thom’s defense, I will say though, I think he inadvertently photographed Svetlana/Veronica’s body a lot better than this photographer called Fitin. What is amazing about Svetlana is that you may not immediately realize how wonderful her curves her, her hips, backside, and even her breasts, for a small girl, are very remarkable and outstanding in the nude art world. I haven’t seen her on any other sites but Art Nude Angels and Zemani, A-to-Z, but look at the cover. The cover reads Bonus Serie, which to me speaks to a special edition, or addition, for an exceptional and rare model.
The only thing that would have made this set even better than it is would have been to see Svetlana with a big, goofy smile. From what I’ve seen of her, she doesn’t like to show teeth, leaving us with mysterious, knowing smirks, and I mean they are the very definition of smirks. When she’s not smirking, and looking into the lens, she looks serious and in some pictures absolutely melancholy, which is also interesting, and adds Romance to the textures of mystery and self-discovery already realized in the images.
