I wasn’t going to give much attention to these two sets, till I noticed the little videos at the bottom of the galleries. W4B picture galleries are sometimes accompanied by short, behind-the-scenes video underneath the photos. The video is really easy to miss. I don’t find backstage content particularly arousing or interesting. Pin Up Files, of course, believes videos of photo shoots are the most erotic videos of all. Why else would a great majority of their videos be in this format? I’m not sure W4B’s are meant to be erotic, however, that question is what lead me to take interest in these two sets.
I noticed the Lynette video, first. Usually, I rip free galleries and then upload them to Imagevenue. However, in the case of W4B galleries with videos, sometimes, I’ll just link the gallery since I don’t always want to go through the trouble of uploading a video. To make my decision, I had to look at the video. Everything is normal at first. Actually, W4B video galleries stream awfully. With their server resources and ultra high HD quality, you’d expect a more satisfying, easy loading video experience, but no. The videos stop and start if they load at all. I’m sure the videos in the members area work, though.
The video of Lynette looks pretty normal at first, which is to say it’s boring. She’s not masturbating or even doing anything remotely interesting. You do get a sense of her a person, however. She comes off as very friendly, playful, if not a like bit of a tomboy. There are things you can’t learn about a model only looking at still pictures. Lynette has a tattoo, a big one on her back, of an Indian couple in a sexual position from the Kamasutra. Just looking at Lynette, you wouldn’t expect that, so it’s interesting, and the photographer makes a point to show the tattoo. Then suddenly, from behind the camera, a hand reaches out, and starts squeezing her breasts. I immediately thought it was odd. I kept watching. Perhaps, it was just a playful moment between model and photographer. No, next, the hand is pulling down her underwear from the front and the back. The actions of this hand, from my experience, are more befitting a gonzo porn shoot, where the photographer takes liberties with the models body whenever he feels like it, than a nude art shoot.
The hand doesn’t penetrate her or do anything obscene or overtly sexual, still, the familiarity with which it gropes, and the assertiveness with which it pulls down her underwear (exposing a rather cute camel toe), gives me pause, and not because of how Lynette reacted. She’s very professional about it. Even if the photographer crossed the line, you can’t tell by how she acts, because she’s being paid and could possibly feel totally compromised by a person in a position of power, but does that make it appropriate for a photographer to touch his nude models like in the video? I’ve written before there should be chemistry between artist and subject. If there is a sexual encounter, that’s fine as well. The question is if putting these dalliances on the site is right Is this the direction W4B is going in, softcore gonzo porn?
I watched the Little Caprice video, next, thinking that there was no way I would see a similar display. I was ready to throw this Caprice gallery in the garbage, too. Caprice is her typical, cute self and looks totally awesome with her legs spread wide. I don’t like the shade of nail polish she’s wearing, though, so, normally, I wouldn’t put it on the front page, and would file it among all the other Caprice sets. Well, not expecting the same thing from the backstage video was wrong. The video was again sort of gonzo, except, instead of a hand getting in the way of the model, it’s a pair of big, ugly, man feet propped up on a desk.
As I’ve written before, I’ll write it again. If you are shooting a nude model, pictures or video, porn or nude art, never get your ugly man feet in the shot, especially not as prominently as they are in the Caprice video. Hands are one thing. Feet are the absolutely worst part of a man’s body which can accidentally or purposefully recorded. For a few seconds, of an already short video, man feet fill the screen. Toes wiggle and flex. They’re in the foreground, bigger than Caprice herself and they truly are a revolting sight to see. How amateur and gross can it get?
I sent an email to the site asking for a comment on this. I’ve not seen many W4B movies, but of what I’ve seen, I haven’t seen any like these two. It’s possible that Lynette is dating the photographer. Barring that though, I’m not sure touching a model and then publishing the video on what is supposed to be a nude art site is the right thing to do. Say whatever you want, but you’ve never seen a video on Met or Femjoy in which the photographer is “getting in on the action”, so to speak. Sure, those sites also don’t publish backstage videos, but neither should W4B, because they’re neither erotic nor what the majority of users are looking for when it comes to nude art videos. Nude art videos hard enough to make enjoyable anyway. And while W4B does lean on the hardcore side of softcore, anyway; I guess you can call it edgy softcore, or erotic softcore, edgy nude art, whatever, I’m still surprised to see male co-stars creeping in.
